The essence of Hava's Couture Collection is
reminiscent of something regal, romantic, and transformed from an era
of Romanticism to coincide with the new Millennium. Hava has created a
line of jewelry with a familiar face and family behind it.
In 1986, a trip from Montreal to Los Angeles created a new adventure
for Hava and her family. Trained as a couture designer in Paris, she
established a strong relationship with manufactures and designers in
Italy and the Orient to create a line of sterling silver and marcasite
jewelry.
After twenty years in the business, the jewelry designing and manufacturing,
utilizing years of couture experience has brought a breath of fresh air
to the jewelry world. Hava's line includes collections for everyday and
night, but never steers to far away from the original origins of European
flair. Today, the extensive collection can be found in the finest boutique
shops and department store nation and worldwide.
Guided by fashion trends, Hava introduces a new line monthly to keep up
with her customers, which is unheard of in the fashion world. This displays
her strong commitment to her customers in placing them at the forefront
of the jewelry world. Each introduction retains the signature and classic
look of her marcasite while always being fashion forward.
As the leading designer of sterling silver and marcasite jewelry, Hava
uses only the best quality marcasite, which has brilliant silver color.
Marcasite is a natural mineral called iron pyrite, which is cut in Switzerland.
It is a stone with a brilliant metallic luster. Marcasite was considered
the black diamond of Europe during the Depression Era because of the
top of the marcasite is cut with many small facets, which catch the
light and glow like diamonds.
Each high quality piece of jewelry is individually hand crafted and
hand set. The round marcasite stones used in out designs are always
pave set between sterling silver beads, enhancing the brilliance of
the marcasite. The development of square cut marcasite stones has enabled
Hava to create new and exquisite designs for her collection.
Hava's daughter Clarissa, who is the model, muse and co-designer, has
also introduced an exclusive line of marcasite beads. This journey has
taken over three years but has proven very successful. The exclusive
line of beads is also featured twice a year utilizing beautiful genuine
stones such as garnet, faceted onyx, hematite, amethyst, and genuine
fresh water pearls in a range of colors. Look forward this year to see
